A Step Forward for PLACID: We Are Now Members of Apartur

PLACID has officially joined Apartur (Barcelona Tourist Apartments Association), an organization established in 2004 to represent, support and bring together the holiday accommodation sector in the province of Barcelona.

This membership reflects our platform’s commitment to being part of a well-structured professional environment, as well as participating in the coordination, representation and collaborative work carried out within the industry. In this regard, joining Apartur enables PLACID to become part of an organization that serves as a representative body before public authorities, the wider tourism sector and other relevant stakeholders.

Apartur carries out its work with the aim of promoting a tourist accommodation model based on quality standards, responsibility and regulatory compliance. It also encourages initiatives focused on the professionalization of the sector and on improving coexistence between tourism activity and the urban environment.
